The Gattles are a Stone Age tribe that finds itself in trouble when mammoth and other game starts to get scarce. Rumor has it the wicked Queen of faraway Ikomene has found a miraculous new food, so the Gattles young daughter, Linda, sets off to discover the secret. Along the way, she travels through time 30,000 years into the future to Japan's Yayoi Period in the third century B.C. Linda has various adventures and deals with a range of problems and situations while learning a variety of new technologies and innovations. While this drama nominally focuses on ancient peoples, it embodies a great deal of social criticism applicable to modern society and life. The program is based on a popular comic series created by Shunji Sonoyama and will appeal to everyone, both young and old.
